Mo & Krill Deadlock: put the kit into practice

These sequences are editorial practice suggestions, not a fixed skill-up or item build.

Approach with Burrow, then choose a target

Burrow gives movement speed and spirit and bullet armor underground. Damage from enemy heroes reduces the speed bonus, so an exposed approach can lose momentum. Emerging deals damage, slows and knocks enemies up. Try emerging near an opponent your teammates can already reach before using Combo. This is a suggested engagement sequence, not a guaranteed chain: landing near several enemies does not mean that holding one will keep you safe.

Make the single-target hold useful

Combo holds and stuns one target while dealing damage during a channel. Favor an opponent your allies can immediately attack, rather than chasing a distant target out of their sight. In a team fight, pinning an enemy threatening an ally can be more useful than grabbing the first enemy you see. The channel needs a follow-up plan. The saved description does not specify which enemy effects interrupt it, so this guide makes no immunity or interruption guarantee.

Separate recovery from weapon denial

Scorn damages nearby enemies and heals Mo & Krill based on damage dealt, with stronger healing against heroes. Sand Blast damages and disarms enemies in front. Use facing and distance deliberately: recovery requires nearby targets, while disarming an opponent does not establish that their abilities are disabled. A common mistake is spending both tools before getting close enough to affect the intended enemy, then relying on Combo with no support.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mo & Krill suitable for beginners?

Our learning estimate is medium. Start by practicing Scorn, then work on the timing of Combo. You need close contact and backup to make a single-target hold worthwhile.
