Seven Deadlock: put the kit into practice

These sequences are editorial practice suggestions, not a fixed skill-up or item build.

Use the delay to prepare your damage

Static Charge marks an enemy hero and bursts into an area stun after a delay. Apply it before committing your next attack, then watch where the marked opponent moves. Lightning Ball travels straight, slows while damaging enemies and stops on world geometry. Practice sending the orb along an open route through the fight. Do not treat the charge as an immediate stun or send the ball into a wall while expecting it to reach someone behind it.

Choose when to shoot and when to channel

Power Surge boosts bullets with shock damage that bounces to enemies near the target. It still asks you to land weapon hits; selecting an ability-focused playstyle does not remove aiming from Seven’s kit. An editorial sequence is to mark with Static Charge, line up weapon fire, and use Power Surge during the exchange. Compare that with Storm Cloud, which is a channel around Seven rather than a boosted shot. They require different positioning decisions.

Check sightlines before Storm Cloud

Storm Cloud expands around Seven but does not damage enemies outside line of sight. For example, an opponent around a corner can be inside the apparent radius without taking damage. Pick a position with a clear view of the area your team is contesting, then check whether allies can protect you while channeling. A common mistake is valuing radius alone and ignoring cover. The snapshot does not support a claim that the storm can hit through walls.

Frequently asked questions

Is Seven suitable for beginners?

Our learning estimate is low. Start by practicing Lightning Ball, then work on the timing of Storm Cloud. Your large-area ultimate needs a safe position and clear sightlines.
